● Simulated and ultimately executed research into the uses of Direct Energy Deposition in Metal Additive Manufacturing.

● Worked with a team in producing a system of closed loop control for the creation of metal additively manufactured parts.

Medline Industries: Medical Device R&D Intern June 2024- August 2024

● Worked with a team of biomedical and mechanical engineers in developing a new product.

● Performed a variety of tests and analyzed data from those tests to determine if a given approach was better for the product.

● Participated in the implementation of design control and verification projects related to a lean manufacturing environment.

Baldwin Richardson Foods: Manufacturing Engineer Intern September 2023- December 2023

● Worked with controls, facility, and safety engineers in documenting and implementing changes to operations within the facility

● Created new processes to reduce downtime and improve product yield, maintenance of machines, and machine operation

● Assisted in applying Lean Six Sigma to a manufacturing environment undergoing a continuous improvement transformation

● Gained experience in forming, casting, machining, heat treatment, surface treatment, fixturing, and other manufacturing processes.

● Developed a product as part of a team so that 300 copies of the product could be manufactured by 2025.

● Learned how to use softwares such as mastercam in machining mold inserts as well as waterjet cutting.
